This might be better

So yesterday (technically today) I wrote my first post and it was boring and bad because I spontaneously decided to start this at like midnight and had no prep and was tired. Today I actually have some idea what I'm going to write about so this might be better.

One thing I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday was this, I know many people are flying places over the next week because of spring break for many schools and many of those people probably don't expect too much of any airlines but hopefully I can raise some hopes with this, at least if you are flying on southwest airlines. Watch it all the way through.






Here is something completely different than that though, anyone who enjoys really strange and possibly disturbing music may like a band called The Fuxedos that do very theatrical, over the top, and strange music. I had heard about them on an independent music podcast like 2 years ago and then totally forgot about them but last night I randomly found them again and it's still awesome. Here watch this:



From an interview I saw with the lead singer the song is in ancient Gaelic and if you play it backwards it is a Betty Crocker tuna fish casserole recipe, supposedly, I don't know for sure because I don't know Gaelic.


Lastly anyone who knows me probably also knows I am on the southwest high school robotics team and that I will be gone from school tomorrow to be at the competition. I am hoping to be able to steal some of the U of M's wifi to post some video or pictures or whatever live from the event on my laptop. If it is possible any fans may get a look at whats going on, otherwise oh well. I think the finals will be broadcast live on channel 6, oh wait... no, there are two regionals in Minneapolis and they are broadcasting the other one, never mind.

To Those of You Who May Read This

This will just be a quick beginning entry into a blog that will probably go in no direction specifically. I could write about me in this post but if you were actually able to find this you probably already at least kind of know me and also my personal description to the side is on the lengthy side so you can just read that for more info.

Some quick thoughts for today,

If you are a fan of stand up comedy Jim Gaffigan released a new album today, although not today anymore as I realize that it is 12:15, but anyway it is fairly good although not as good as Beyond the Pale, his previous album. My personal favorite part was his 5 minute rant on bacon, if you know Jim Gaffigan you will also know 90% of his material is on food. Definitely does not match the hot pocket rant from before but still funny.

Secondly any fans of indie music will know the band Peter Bjorn and John, and if you don't you should get to know them. Well they released a knew album today also that I have not listened to yet but think seems good from the bits and pieces I have heard.

Also an interesting fact for this week, a group of islands off the coast of Africa formerly colonized by France voted overwhelmingly to rejoin the french after over 30 years of independence.

Anyway I'm tired and can't think anymore so i will stop writing this now. So far the title i chose has not really matched my content and this might just morph into me ranting about music every time i get anything new or hear something terrible but i hope next time i post i can actually put up some anime or videogame stuff or something but right now i didn't do any prep and just wrote about what was new out today, not really exciting.
